Park at Cockermouth Forest just off North Groton Rd (43º 43.764 x 071º 50.509) This sign is easy to miss heading east. There is a small parking area just before the bridge.
Very nice trail that looks to be an old logging road, gradual slope.
Follow the Trail until you get to the fork in the trail. Go left to little Pond or go right to Bald Knob.
