A new conservation trail/area honoring the memory of John Johansen, a former member of the Conservation Commission in Mashpee. I had the honor of working with John and was so pleased that the Town honors John and his memory with this piece of land.
The recently dedicated plaque states:
John Johansen Memorial - In the memory of John Johansen, whose tireless dedication and efforts on behalf of natural resource protection served as a model for all Conservation Commissions, past, present and future.
