Geocache Description:

Located at old wayside rest area between Shingobee Island and the casino.

This was once a wayside rest area. Now, the only thing that remains is an old paved parking area. This area still remains active with fisherman, parking their vehicles in the lot when the ice isn't safe for vehicle travel or for summer fisherman along the shore. It's a beautiful view of the south Walker Bay area and Shingobee Island. The cache is a lock-tite container that contains the usual swag, FTF dollar and logbook. Please replace cache as you found it.
