Park & grab in a busy area.
Sometimes you find a container that sparks an idea for a whole series of geocaches.
In this case, there are five separate hides, each borrowing from the children’s game of “This Little Piggy.” You know the one. Only these caches shouldn’t have you on your toes. Each is a reasonably simple park-and-grab within the Framingham/Ashland area. All the Piggies caches have been placed adjacent to a business that relates to the title. Have a look around and see what we mean! Of course, businesses come and go, so if the cache title no longer makes sense because the business has left, please let us know and we’ll move it.
Once you see the container, you’ll understand the title for the series. We sure hope the containers are waterproof, but we didn’t get a chance to run a stress test against the elements. Let us know if the log book is wet.
This Piggy is placed near a popular specialty foods store. You’ll have to scramble a bit to grab it, so be careful in winter.
Update, 7/31/11
Original cache was muggled by a nearby property owner who apparently resented cachers being so near his back yard. The replacement has been placed about 100 feet away and coordinates updated. Note that during the winter the find could involve a short scramble up a slippery hill.
Update 10/1/11
Picked up some new piggies at the county fair and replaced the one that had been muggled here. Adjusted coordinates; signal bounce inhibits accuracy a bit.
