The cache is located in Allamuchy Mountain State Park. You have a short bushwhack off the trail to GZ. You are looking for a small Lock & Lock box.
This cache is the third in a series of five. The five caches (Meadowlark (GC1XXKK), Bobcat, Mountain Lion (GC1Y71N), Snowy Owl, and Buffalo) are intended to remind us of animal diversity in nature (not all of these animals are native to NJ).
Each cache contains cards that will provide some information about the subject animal. Please feel free to take a card with you. The first to find prize is an engraved coin with the animal’s image on one side and the cache name on the other.
