Symi is a beautiful and safe place to explore but can be extremely hot. Please don’t walk off well defined tracks alone or without your phone. Wear good shoes and *always* carry plenty of water. x
The 12 turns ...
The road down to Panormitis is marvel and well worth a stop to
admire the views - hence the cache. It's a 12-turn zig-zag down the
mountain and you'll pass some interesting places on the way, such
as the Byzantine Wine presses (a lovely walk through the woods to
find them - signposted from the road).
The cache is located up the rocky bank on the left hand side of
the road as you head downwards. There is a good parking spot (see
waypoint) and the cache is straight up from here about 75 ft away
through some rough stuff. The views are fantastic.
Please hide the cache well to keep it safe from muggles, but more
importantly, hungry goats!
FTF will see Greek and English cache notes, logbook, pen, FTF
medal, several toys and trinkets for trade. The cache also contains
a 35mm micro with cache note and logbook. If you are able to hide
this 'chick', then please take it and leave a reference to this
'mother nest' in your new cache description - thanks!
