Geocache Description:

Stones & Stumps: The route is about 12.5m/20km long with a good selection of caches along the way. See Stones & Stumps No.1 for info about the route.

From the erratic go through the wood, through a gate and straight ahead for 30yds. Then bear left along a pleasant grass path through an uncultivated area with the remains of a small quarry on the right. Great views of Cross Fell again. The path leads into an area of new planting, plus orienteering course. Follow the BW signs. You may have to do some limbo!
