From Trains, continue straight ahead (NE) into the field. Keep on the SE side of the fence and you will come to a stile into the left field. Follow the N side of the fence and go through the second gate into the final field that runs down to the road. The FP is indistinct and when last walked the field was ploughed. It's not far to the gate by the FP sign so 'plough on' and it's helpfully down hill.
On reaching the road, turn right and follow the quiet lane - you might meet the odd car or none at all. The FP that goes straight ahead is very poor and misses out the delights of the wood, so it's worth a short bit of lane to pick up the BW through the woods. The lane crosses Waterfalls Bridge but it doesn't quite live up to the name. Further on, turn left at the sign into the wood. Follow the obvious track, then bear left at the sign before the gate. It can be a little squelchy along this first bit. Out into the open and go through the gate halfway along, then through the last gate into the wood.
