From No.12 continue into the wood. Take Care! It's
easy to get the wrong path here. It's not the churned up
track that descends on the left. It's not the smaller one
just to the right, that also descends, it is the almost hidden one
just to the right which continues straight and level. Once on
the path it's really obvious, but it's easy to miss the start and
get sidetracked! See pic below.
The path through the wood is generally very pheasant although it
does have the odd patch of squelch, but it can be easily
avoided. A mix of broadleaf and plantation. GPS signal
varies, but as the trees thin it is usually ok. Cache is
about 140m after a BW sign and is close to the left side of the
track. This cache is about 5km from Clifton.
