[Sve] Öja 3, Hembygdsgården

Förutom lokala samlingar av bruksföremål finns bygdens industrihistoria dokumenterad i två utställningar: Gemlas 250-åriga pappersbrukstradition (Gransholms Pappersbruk 1802-1979) samt Leksaksmuseet som visar träleksaker tillverkade i Gemla under 100 år (Sveriges första leksaksfabrik startade i Gemla 1866). Författaren och nobelpristagaren Pär Lagerkvist har rötter i bygden. Hans liv och författarskap är dokumenterade här.

Behållaren är en 1 l burk med loggbok, penna, lite bytesvaror och ett FTF-kort med vidhängande present.

Apart from local collections of daily objects the industrial history of the area is documented in two exhibitions: The 250 year old Gransholm paper mill, (1802-1979) and the Toy museum that shows wooden toys manufactured in Gemla for 100 years (Swedens first toy factory started in Gemla in 1866). The author and Nobel prize winner Pär Lagerkvist has his roots the area. His life and works are documented here
