I love a good spy movie, especially one involving codes and code-breaking. I recently saw the premier of one at a film festival and got some really neat swag that I decided to share. I can't tell you the name of the movie; it's a secret. To find out you'll have to find the cache (or click the related web page link above). Roger Ebert gave it a thumbs up, by the way.
This family-friendly cache contains the following at the time of placement:
- Log Book
- stash note
- pen
- pencil
- mini spy camera key ring
- wrench
- Japanese dead drop container
- 7 movie scene picture cards - some with cryptograms
- 1930's Dime Kitty savings book
- Magnifying glass
- pre-war nickel and penny
- cipher machine rotor part
- La Brea Bakery bag
- sparkly kid's bracelet
Please take only one movie scene card per person. You don't need to trade for those, so they are prizes for the first seven finders. For the other items please try to trade of equal value and in theme.
The cache is a camouflaged clear container well-covered with pine needles. Please re-cover it well. Those of you who have done my puzzle Dirty Dozen will recognize the location. That cache is being retired and I thought it appropriate to put another movie-themed cache in its place. The solution to that puzzle will be given on that cache page in a note.
