Bluesky - Burgoyne Bay

This cache promotes active living and environmentally friendly geocaching. Come on out to Burgoyne Bay Provincial Park, get some exercise and enjoy some fresh air. There are two really fun ways to get to Burgoyne Bay that are super-environmentally friendly. The first is to leave the car at the Swartz Bay ferry terminal and take your bike. This will save you money (ferry fare for a car is not cheap) and you will love the 5km bike ride on quite flat country roads, with very little elevation gain. The second way is to arrive by private boat. There is good anchorage in the bay and also a government wharf. Not everyone has access to a boat, but if you do, make a day of it and go boating.
