This is my first cache and it is placed in honor of my 1 year of
geocaching membership, my birthday and place where I live for past
30 years – Brezovica. It is almost drive in cache so it should be
very easy to find the cache.
Near Zagreb, you will find small place called Brezovica.
In the history, Brezovica was first mentioned in 13th
century.
On this location you will find small but very beautiful castle
which was built somewhere between 1700 – 1750.
Famous Croatian family Draskovic built this castle the same as
nearby church.
Unfortunately, the castle has been devastated in past few years so
when you come here to search for the cache you will not see the
beauty and the shine as it used to be …
The idea about cache was to show you this nice place and the
beautiful castle which is unfortunately right now totally ruined
outside and inside.
If you come here on a nice weather, you can enjoy in walk through
the beautiful park in which you can find sample of trees from all
over the world.
Also, if you go a little bit on south, there you will find small
lake and maybe you will see some fisherman waiting for a fish…
I will not give you any hint because when you come to the exact
coordinates it will be more than obvious where the cache is!
