The Nature Trail Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Railroader86: After much searching today, I was unable to locate cache container. I still think it is here, but now well buried. So, I'm opening up this area for others to place a cache around here. Thanks to all those who come out to find this one.

Geocache Description:

You are seeking a 1 quart size camo jar located in the Taye' Brown Regional Park. Area is closed off to motor vehicle traffic, so access to this cache can only be made on foot or by bicycle.

This area was once part of the old Cecil Field Naval Air Station. Now, most of the land in this area is being set aside for conservation use. A few month back I found a sign close by the cache site that had the name, of the person, for whom this trail was named for. I had planned to use this as the cache name, but when I returned to place the cache, the sign was gone. If anyone locates the sign, please let me know. *** Note - In order to preserve this land in the best way possible, it is requested by Jax Parks and Recreation, and per GC.com guidelines, that "no digging" be utilized to locate this cache.
