Žárský
rybník
Rybník pod vesnicí Žárem
je nejvetším rybníkem na Novohradsku a bezesporu je i rybníkem
nejstarším. V písemnostech je zmínen již v roce 1221 a
roku 1358 byl významne rozšíren. Jeho dnešní rozloha presahuje sto
hektaru a malebnou kulisu mu dodává pásmo Novohradských hor se
zdaleka viditelným poutním kostelem v Dobré Vode. Silnice ze
Žáru do Nových Hradu, vedoucí po témer dva kilometry dlouhé hrázi,
skýtá krásné výhledy na rozlehlou vodní plochu. V jihovýchodní
cásti rybníka je umele nasypaný, rozlehlý ostrov, na nemž byl
vybudován park s letohrádkem. - Jeden z nejstarších ceských
rybníku, dochovaných dodnes, je v soucasnosti krome
geocachingu využíván k chovu ryb i rekreacnímu rybolovu a
v omezené míre i k rekreaci.
Teich Žár (Sohorser Teich)
Der Teich
beim Dorf Žár (Sohors) ist der größte Teich im Raum von Nové Hrady
(Gratzen) und ist ohne Zweifel der älteste. Er ist schon in
Urkunden im Jahre 1221 angesprochen - und im Jahre 1358 wurde er
deutlich erweitert. Seine derzeitige Fläche steht über 100 ha. Die
malerische Kulisse wird ihm von der Kette des Gebirges
Novohradské hory (Gratzener Bergland) mit der aus der Ferne
sehbaren Wallfahrtskirche in Dobrá Voda (Brünnl) gebildet. Die
durch seinen fast 2 km langen Damm aus Žár (Sohors) nach Nové Hrady
(Gratzen) führende Straße bietet schöne Aussichte über die
ausgedehnte Wasserfläche. Im südöstlichen Teil des Teiches befindet
sich geräumige, künstlich geschütete Insel, wo eine Parkanlage mit
einem Lustschloß eingerichtet wurde. - Einer der ältesten
böhmischen bis heute erhaltenen Teiche wird derzeitig außer
Geocaching auch zum Fischzucht und -fang, sowie auch begrenzt zur
Erholung ausgenutzt.
Lake Žár
The
pond near the village Zar is the largest lake (fishpond) in the
area of Nové Hrady and is undoubtedly the oldest one. It has
already been discussed in documents in 1221 - and in 1358 it has
been greatly expanded. Its present area exceeds 100 ha, its
picturesque backdrop is formed by the chain of mountains
Novohradské hory with the Sanctuary in Dobra Voda foreseeable from
far distance. The road from Žár to Nové Hrady coming on its
embankment, almost 2 km long, offers beautiful views over the vast
water surface. In the southeastern part of the pond is large,
artificial island, where a park was established with a pleasure
palace. - One of the oldest Bohemian ponds preserved till present
is utilized for fish farming and in limited amount for recreation,
now also for Geocaching.

Buquoyská
exotická zahrada na ostruvku Žárského rybníka
Vedle budování
zámeckého parku v Nových Hradech venovali Buquoyové svou pozornost
i jiným lokalitám. Na pocátku 18. století byl predmetem jejich
zájmu ostruvek na Žárském rybníku. Hrabe Karel Kajetán zde nechal
vybudovat v letech 1716 - 18 zábavnou zahradu. Uprostred stromu
stával zdený letohrádek, od nehož vybíhaly hvezdicovité aleje a
ruzné cesty, které ostrov križovaly. Na ostrove byla i exotická
cást, kterou hrabe osadil flórou a faunou z exotických zemí, jež
navštívil nebo ze kterých nechal potrebné rostliny a zvírectvo
dovézt. Prístup k ostrovu denne zprostredkovávalo nekolik
clunu.
Zpocátku velký zájem o exotický ostruvek však od
dvacátých let zacal upadat. „Dlouhá“ cesta kocárem (4–5 km)
pravdepodobne unavovala príslušníky a príslušnice rodu natolik, že
se rozhodli zbudovat odpocinkový park blíže hlavní novohradské
rezidenci. Od padesátých let tak proto zacínají práce na malém
parku, ze kterého se postupem doby stalo slavné Tercino údolí s
vodopádem a láznickami. Žárský ostruvek postupne upadal a do naší
doby se z puvodní krásy nedochovalo témer nic.

Neben dem
Errichten des Schloßparks in der Stadt Nové Hrady (Gratzen)
legten die Buquoyen ihr Augenmerk auch auf andere Standorte. Am
Anfang des 18. Jahrhunderts war ein Objekt ihrer Interesse die
Insel im Teich Žár. Der Graf Karl Kajetan ließ hier in Jahren 1716
- 18 einen Lustgarten einrichten. In Mitten der Bäume stand ein
Lustschloß, von dem die sternförmigen Alleen und der Insel
kreuzende Wege ausliefen. Auf der Insel befand sich auch ein Teil
mit der aus exotischen Ländern importierten Flora und Fauna. Der
Zugang zur Insel wurde täglich mit mehreren Booten
vermittelt.
Die anfangs grosse
Interesse für die exotische Insel begann ab 20. Jahren abfallen.
Die "weite" Kutschereise (4-5 km) ermüdete die Mitgliederinnen und
Mitglieder des Adelsgeschlechtes soviel, daß sie sich entschieden,
eine neue zur Gratzener Residenz nähere Parkanlage zu errichten. Ab
50. Jahre beginnen darum die Arbeiten in einem kleinen Park, aus
dem zeitweise das berühmte Teresiental mit dem Wasserfall und
Kurbad entstanden ist. Die Insel ist schrittweise verfallen - und
bis heutiger Zeit ist fast nichts aus ihrer ursprünglichen
Schönheit geblieben.
The Buquoys' exotic garden on the island in the lake
Žár
In addition to the building
of the castle park in the city Nové Hrady, the Buquoys put their
attention to other locations. At the beginning of the 18th Century,
the island in the pond Žár was an object of their interest. The
Count Carlo Gaetano set up there a pleasure garden in 1716–18. From
a castle standing in the midst of trees, the star-shaped avenues
and paths rised, intersecting the island. There was also an exotic
part on the island with flora and fauna imported from exotic
countries. Access to the island was mediated daily with several
boats.
The first great interest in
the exotic island began to drop from the twenties. The members of
the aristocratic family were so tired by the coach journey (4-5 km)
that they decided to build a new park closer to their residence in
Nové Hrady. Therefore, works in a small park began in the 50th.
This is the famous Teresia Valley with waterfall and spa. The
island has been falling gradually - and until the present time
almost nothing has remained of its original beauty.

uprostred Žárského rybníka. Na hladine ani pod ní však poklad
nehledejte - bylo by to veskrze marné. Informace o ceste k nemu
získáte po objevení jedné ze trí schránek umístených v okolí
rybníka. Souradnice jejich umístení jsou:

CD po prehrání opet vratte na puvodní místo - a vše peclive
uschovejte. - Díky!

Mitte des Teichs Žár (Sohorser Teich) gültig. Auf oder unter der
Wasserfläche ist kein Schatz zu suchen - das wäre sinnlos. Die
Infos zum zu ihm führenden Weg kann man erst nach der Entdeckung
einer von drei in der Teichsumgebung liegenden Behältern gewinnen.

of the pond "Zarsky rybník". At or below the water surface is no
treasure to be sought - that would be ineffectual. The information
on the path leading to the treasure can be obtained only after the
discovery of one of three containers hidden in the pond area. Their
