Geocache Description:

A new Fly/Drive cache near an airport that we visit to get fuel as we frequently travel North and South. Well camoed but not too hard to find.

Get your "wings" when you are first to find this cache near the somewhat remote Alturas airport (AAT). This has become a favorite fuel stop for us as we travel north and south. The airport manager is quite friendly and even fueled our plane for us. He will show you the RV-7 project that is in the hanger and has snacks for sale if you need or there are 2 courtesy cars to head into town for a meal or overnight stay.

There is a great vewing area and the Modoc national wildlife refuge just a little south of town. Enjoy out of the way Alturas!!
