Geocache Description:

I stumbled upon this trail after finding Power To The People. My best guess is that it is supposed to be an extreme mountain biking trail created by an insane person. Whatever their motive, they put quite a bit of effort into it. The setup reminded me of the rickety mine track in Temple of Doom so I stole the name. There are two ways to reach this cache - the easy way and the hard way. If you want a calf burning experience, park in the small lot next to Brigg's Bridge at Eagle River and start hiking up the power line. When you reach the first utility pole, look to your right and you will see the trail head. The easy route is to drive up Highland Road and park at the corner of Bernard Road. There is space there for one or two cars. Walk back down Highland Road about 120 feet past the Bernard Road sign and you will see the trail head on the right marked with a piece of pink survey tape. The cache is a plastic cylinder about one inch in diameter. It is clearly visible from 10 feet away but the exposed part is camouflaged to blend into its surroundings. You do not need to bend, twist, or otherwise contort your body to spot the cache location. The container contains a log only. You will need your own pencil.
