Located in Gogerddan Woodlands near to the village of Penrhyncoch. The cache is in a 1.5 litre official geocache tupperware container wrapped in a turquoise carrier bag for extra protection and camouflaging. It can be accessed on foot from the Gogerddan Forestry Commission Car Park by following a marked trails. Round trip will take approx 45min to an hour. Some uphill tracks.
Gogerddan woods or Allt Ddel to use the correct name are lovely mixed coniferous and broadleaf plantation between the villages of Penrhyncoch and Bow Street which can be accessed from a Forestry Commission Car Park on the unclassified road leading to the Penrhyncoch. There is a fantastic picnic site with picnic tables by a meander in the small stream, Nant Clarach. There is good view down to Bow Street from the cache location.
