Cache Valley Specialty Coin Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

BlueRajah: Hi ,

As there's been no cache to find for months, and/or there has been no communication on the cache page with the cache owner I'm archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists.

Thank you,

Geocache Description:

This cache is a small container is colorfully disguised to blend in with nature and hidden near a facility with 24/7 operation. Snow removal at the facility will actually make finding this one even tougher in the winter.

This cache is in a busy location so caution should be taken. It is recommended that after finding the cache, you move to one of the nearby benches to inspect it's contents and to make a log entry. Please bring your own pencil and try to leave the cache exactly as it was found.

This cache is designated for coin trading. It is initially stocked with coins of all varieties: a Utah State "Golden Spike" Quarter, a Wooden nickel, some children's plastic coins, along with two activated, trackable geocoins. As an added bonus, there is an unactivated, trackable FTF geocoin.

It is hoped that the cache will be used for trackable geocoin trading. Even if you don’t have geocoins to trade, you’re still welcome to find the cache and trade some of the other types of coins! We hope to keep an interesting inventory of "fun" coins in the cache. If you are familiar with geocoins and (if you wish) you can earn some new geocoin icons by simply “discovering” the cache contents. To make this an enjoyable cache for the next person, please observe the following guidelines:

  • Coins of any type or value are welcome!
  • If you take a trackable geocoin please ensure that it is placed in a new cache in a timely manner.
  • Promptly log trackable coins to maintain accurate travel history and inventory status.

Good luck and happy coin trading!
