This cache is located at the top of the south peak of Mt. Tom in Woodstock VT. There is a trail of moderate difficulty leading to its location; it starts at Faulkner Park (located on Mountain Ave.) The trail gets a tad more difficult near the top so you may have to be careful if bringing children. Vertical rise is 1340 ft. Enjoy the view!
Container is a little larger than a film canister. It only contains the log so make sure to bring something to write with. Very small trade items may be possible.
Plan on at least an hour for the trip up and down combined. Should be less than two. There is an easier path up but I have not taken it so I do not know its starting location. I do know that it makes it possible to bring up horses, strollers, etc.
May be problematic finding it during the winter.
