Geocache Description:

An easy stroll and a little hunting. The route takes you across Manor Park and into the woods. Note: this area is a public place so you can roam at will - but care for the woodlands is essential. The description starts at the north-eastern edge of the park (roughly 51.9964475, -0.4976249 but you can also see the start of a path on maps.)

Update April 2022: the cache has been restored and a new logbook has been added. We’ve also refreshed the coordinates so they’re a bit closer - they’re still not exact (a bit of hunting is fun!) but the tips in logs pre-April 22 might be a bit misleading! Enter the park and find the path crossing the field

Follow the lake - usually dried in the summer - past the Lightning Tree. At the Line of Four Trees, you're halfway there...

Enter the woods...

A short way in, a small brick bridge crosses the river - go over and follow the path deeper into the woods.

Hunt through the trees for The Big Double-Ya. (The coordinates will take you to the general area but not the exact spot - use the name to work out what you’re hunting for!)

The cache itself isn't too hard to find, but it is hidden from view (don't worry, once you find Big Double-Ya, it'll be easy enough!)Please be sure to replace anything you move!

One hint - if you reach this gate, you've gone too far!
