Geocache Description:

Ammo box placed by Saturday Night Explorers along Tahoe Donner Northwoods Nature Trail. (New location / updated coordinates for the cache - prior location, cache container was stolen several times. New ammo box (plastic) and kid-friendly trinkets placed 10/13/22.)

Family friendly cache. Ammo box N/NE of trail marker 3A on Tahoe Donner trail map. Contains random trade items - kid-friendly trinkets. Park at Trout Creek Rec Center and enjoy a hike along the Nature Trail, or park on Baden Loop road, Tahoe Donner trailhead marker #40 (N 39 20.687, W 120 13.750), and hike a 1/4 mile on trail from there. (No roadside parking in winter.) Cache location/coordinates updated 10/13/22. Cache is about 55 feet N/NE of trail junction. Please re-cover / conceal cache well.
