This is an ammo can cache located along a walking trail in beautiful Barnwell State Park.
You won't find Turkey Feather Trail on the park's trail map. As we were exploring the park to seek a location for this cache, we found two turkey feathers along the trail. We decided to place the cache near the biggest landmark along this trail spur - a beautiful white oak overlooking the upper pond. We left the turkey feathers near the cache site for good luck.
We hope you enjoy this historic park as much as we do.
