At the rim of the shinglemill creek canyon. The terrain is more difficult if approached from the lower trail. The entrance to the parking area is across the street from the Vashon Winery on SW 156th st. The trail proper is on the left at the parking area. Please stay on the trail until reaching the rim, where a faint trail leading off to the right is visible. And Please heed the dogs must be on leash signs. The owner of one of the adjoining properties had been know to shoot dogs that stray onto his land.
