Geocache Description:

****IMPORTANT NOTE**** This cache is located in the Lincoln National Forest which has been reopened :) There are still fire restrictions in place so please be aware of them before entering the forest.

This is our first cache ever placed so hopefully it's done well. The cache is a Lock and Lock box that is almost the size of a small ammo can. There are signs here that say not to climb on the trestle, this cache is hidden so that you do NOT have to climb on the trestle but you do need to go past the observation area. Also be aware that while there may not be anybody around you at the observation area, there is a second one across the canyon so be sure to look out for muggles.

The trail, which is about 1.3 miles long, begins at a picnic area off of Highway 82 (found at N 32° 57.513 W 105° 44.834) although it is closed in winter, but no worries, there is another trail ( 32°57'28.22"N 105°44'46.59"W) that connects to this one. It is the Village Spur Trail #T5001A, it will add about .3 miles to your hike.
