We were out trying to find a few caches sometime ago and headed up here to go to the Rice Lake cache.
The road up here has been recently repaved and has a speed hump about every 100 metres.
Our small vehicle rattles and shakes and shudders and rocks with the speed humps. It is just not designed for the rough bumps. (Hey it is designed for for a world-class city not the boonies).
It seemed like this road is just too long and inviting to not have enough caches on it. We needed to have a few stops along the way.
So we have put in a few caches to break the journey.
This cache should be accessible by persons with minor to medium mobility problems – though not wheel chair accessible.
This cache is in a fairly open area near what looks like a District Utility area. It should not be too hard to get to the area. The cache has been replaced by a different container. The original probably lies buried in the Utility area.It was near the large concrete blocks on the North side.
It is a simple camo-d cylinder about 8" x 3".
