This cache is #2 in our composer series, dedicated to composers and their nature-inspired creativity. The third movement of Berlioz' programmatic Symphonie Fantastique is entitled "Scene in the Country".
"Alone in the Country on a summer's evening, the artist hears two distant herdsmen calling to each other. Their pastorale duet, the rustle of the wind in the trees, and the hope that his beloved might yet be his, all lull him into a reverie. The sun sets, there is thunder in the distance, then solitude and silence."
