Ace in the Hole Traditional Cache

You're looking for a small cache - larger than the typical Palm Springs micro but smaller than a regular. Container has lots of goodies in it and is large enough to hold several geocoins. Location is fairly obvious, quite nearly handicache-accessible except for the last foot or so, and should be found in no time. Watch out for black widows!
After living here for about a year, it's about time I placed a cache, quite practically in my backyard, so... Welcome to the Ace Hotel, arguably one of Palm Springs' trendiest spots, popular with hipsters and the 20s and 30s crowd (yes, they exist in Palm Springs! It's not all retirees.)
The hotel used to be a Howard Johnson's and was transformed from the typical orange-decored, outdated pitstop typical of Palm Springs' mid-century modern yesteryear to a completely remodeled hotspot which features an (almost) all-night pool open to locals, a dungeon-like bar with unique drinks, fabulous food, a photo booth and free bingo on Mondays. It's dog-friendly, too! In all, it's a fun place to visit, even if you don't stay there. I go here with friends after work on a semi-regular basis.
Note that there is absolutely NO NEED to go into the hotel to find the cache. I just think it's a neat location.
