There is a strange shrine gate beside the Haneda Airport.
This cache is near the Torii(gate of the shinto shrine) at the Tokyo(Haneda) International Airport entrance. This torii has a mysterious history.
The Haneda Airport is the most main airport in Tokyo now. The enhancing construction of the airport was done by the U.S. occupation troops in 1945. Only one torii was left though "Anamori-inari Shirine" that had existed on here was moved. Afterwards, it was transferred to a present position in 1999 when 50 years or more passed.
A lot of people who often come this airport before 1999 may remember this torii standing alone on the corner of the parking in front of the airport building .

このキャッシュは、羽田空港入り口の鳥居(神社の門)の近くにあります。この鳥居は不思議な歴史をたどっています。
羽田空港は現在、東京における最も主要な空港です。1945年の敗戦にともない米軍により空港の拡張工事が行われる際に、その地にあった「穴守稲荷神社」が移転させられましたが、ひとつの鳥居だけが残されました。その後、50年以上経った1999年になって、現在の位置に移設されました。
以前の羽田空港をよく知る人は、空港ビル前の駐車場の片隅にこの鳥居がぽつんと立っていたことを覚えている人も多いと思います。
