Geocache Description:

Geocaching 101 Final Exam. This does three things: introduces you to a Multi-cache; is the final exam for the Geocaching 101 Series; intorduces people to a lesser known community park. I had to replace the final - now is a black nano.

This is a fairly easy Multi-cache, you will visit two Way Points (WP) and then the final cache.

Multi-Caches
Multi-caches can be step by step where at each WP you are given partial coordinates for the final. They can also have you go to WP1 where you are given the coordinates for WP2, etc.. until you reach the final. You only sign one log - the final location.

To set coords in your Garmin unit, hit Mark (which marks your current position), tab to the cords section, hit enter, using arrow keys go to the first number needing changed, then move to the correct number and hit enter. Do the same until coords match the WP you need to go to, then move to “OK” and hit enter. One last step, you need to save the WP, so move to OK and hit enter - remember the name of the WP, then search for that WP # and go.

For IPhones you go to your map ICON and where you would enter a business name or address to search, here, if you were trying to set the coords for the first WP in this multi-cache, you would enter N 32 55.361 W 117 07.838 then go. It will place a red arrow at your GC, and you are the blue dot.
