Reverend Walter Feldscher was the minister for the Mellen Lutheran Church back in the 1920s. He walked a circuit every week from Mellen to High Bridge to Cozy Valley and back to Mellen holding services in German and English. The residents of Cozy Valley had a dream of a church, and the Reverend's brother Herbert donated 10 acres of his land to get started. The church never became a reality, but the land serves as this cemetery instead.

When you visit this cemetery, stop in the Memorial Chapel to see some of the local history of the people of Cozy Valley. There's also a guest log on the inside, as well has pictures dating back through the years.
The WSQ in the title of this cache is an acronym for Wisconsin
Spirit Quest. Wisconsin geocachers have adopted this acronym to
designate their cemetery caches. As this is classified as a
cemetery cache please note it is NOT hidden on any grave marker or
site. If there is a service going on, or anyone visiting their
loved ones when you arrive please be respectful and come back at a
