This cache is an ammo box on the back side of Castle Rock State Park. It’s part of a ‘Hitchcock movies’ inspired series of caches designed to take you into the heart of the wild and very beautiful San Lorenzo River Valley.
DZ, ECP and iwikepie felt vertiginous here....the ground was slipping away beneath their feet. Watch your step while you search for this ammo box.
Getting There
The best bet for parking is at the Beekhuis Gate. Take the Beekhuis Road Trail down past the Skyline To Sea Trail to the intersection with Saratoga Toll Road Trail. Go right and then veer left at the T®oll Road sign. From there, follow the abandoned road to the San Lorenzo River. Enjoy!
And finally, reception is always sketchy in the canyons in the redwoods. It is highly recommended that you bring hints.
