This cache has been archived.

General Disarray: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

A cach hid up from a neck of Lake Eufaula, lost of tall weeds, down timber and rocks. Take bug spray in the spring and summer.

This cach is located in the area of Piney Creek of Lake Eufaula. This is a neck of the lake just north of Highway 9 Landing. It is steap banked neck with rock bluffs on the east side. It is pretty well know for it cliff diving. (There are several YouTube videos on this., here is a link to one. (visit link) )

Park on the east side of the bridge and take the trail leading north. This will take you the cliffs that people dive from. The bank is steep so keep an eye on the Kidos.

When setting this cach, I was sad to see how much trash and broker glass that has been left behind by the people using the area. Be careful and if you CITO, there is a trash can on the north side of the road when the trail start.
Once you get to the diving rock, you will need to follow some less defined trails toward the cach.
