Geocache Description:

Cathkin Braes Country Park

History

The park was first gifted to the city in 1887 but before this in the Iron Age, the area was home to the Damnonii tribe and archaelogical remains have been found from this time. The park was extended west in the 1940's when land was aquired from the Castlemilk Estate.
