Geocache Description:

This place was used to be a stone-pit but now just some stones are suggesting to it.
The plateau is like a prairie. A great grassland with bushes, wonderful plants and animals. On the stones you can usually see lizards sunbathing. From spring to autumn/fall there are beautiful flowers and grazing horses. The wind always blows from North-West and it’s really clear.

You can approach it easily by car on this way: From the main street of Pomáz turn to Jankovits Gyula street, Boglárka street then Tél street (WARNING! The street is zooming!). On the plateau there is a building called “Magyar Vár”. Next to it there’s a parking where you can left your car. After a 500 meter/546 yard walking you can find the cache right under a great stone hidden by little ones.

The cache measures are 15x10x6 cm

If the gate of the castle is opened you may enter it and have a look inside. There are usually folk programs and you can go up to the little tower were a nice view is seen.
