The entrance to this footpath is located on the far side of the A41 opposite the parish church of St Oswald's in Backford village. If you are driving I would suggest that you park near the church and then walk the short distance, be very careful crossing the busy A41. I had passed this footpath many times but until now I had never ventured down. It is one of 10 public rights of way footpaths across the parish. These connect to the adjacent footpath networks in Saughall, Lea-by-Backford and Backford parishes. The cache you will be searching for is a small cylindrical plastic container, which can hold small travel bugs and geocoins. Hints are not required for this simple hide; you will know the obvious places to look when you get there. Be very careful walking down the path as it is a little steep in places.
