Easy ride, can drive within feet of the Cache. Look across the road at the "Witness Tree". Never heard the phrase before until my Aunt Judy explained it to me...and it is true, that Tree has seen a lot in it's years in Ruby Valley, more importantly the building of Fort Ruby, the Pony Express Route and Hastings Cutoff..and the many Native American Families that lived in this Valley.
