It is with great sorrow and respect that we place a cache in remembrance of a wonderful friend, Jerry.
Jerry served his country proudly. He was Chief of the Bridge City Fire Dept. for many years. Besides his community service and church activity, he also loved hunting.
In the last couple of years Jerry found a new excitement, geocaching. He loved to go with us. When we would pull up at a cache, Jerry was out of the car first. It was usually Jerry that found it first.
We dedicate this cache to our friend, and hope that each cacher who stops by will remember their good friends and good times they had while caching.
We are listing the Waypoint where Jerry is laid to rest. There is another cache very close to Jerry. We hope you will visit both while here.
