Geocache Description:

Hidden on the red trail route in the Kologha Forest near Stutterheim.

THE TRAIL AND OTHER CACHES ALONG THE ROUTE
It is a 17 km circular walk and a good distance of this trail is walking through grassland. We recommend that you pick up the other caches in the forest in an almost circular walk, which then deviates from the red circular route. The suggested route traverses the red/yellow trail and later changes to the bike and horse trail. If in doubt check out the map at the parking area before proceeding.

A suggested order of finding caches would be to park at the picnic site at the Kologha Forest at S 32° 32.253 E 27° 21.871 (PK1GA9G) and find caches in the following order as you go along.

1) Mirror image puzzle
2) Bushpig
3) Bushbuck
4) Endangered Cape Parrot
5) Stutterheim View
6) Anderson Dam Stutterheim
7) Narina Trogon

Continue on to the parking - thereby completing a round trip of approximately 11 km, but be sure to start out early and have a reasonable level of fitness. Put on your hiking boots and a daypack and don’t forget the sunscreen and hat. In transit you will pass a few spot where you can fill up your water bottle.

THE CACHE SITE
At the cache site you will have a panoramic view of Stutterheim, with its expanding population and surrounding countryside. On your right is Mount Kubusie with its impressive krans and Mount Kemp in the distance with the FM tower on. Then to the left of Stutterheim is Wriggleswade Dam. Dohne Peak at 1454m asl is on your left and has a few towers on.

PLEASE REPLACE EXACTLY AS FOUND.
