Geocache Description:

Greenport Conservation Area – Yellow Trail

I love the Columbia Land Conservation and ALL of their properties! I have been to the GCA quite a few times but not that recently. I had heard mention of the “All Access” trails and that there might have been a new one so while in the area I paid a visit and loved every minute (ok, I did NOT enjoy the prickers!) of my visit. After hiking through the trails that I already knew about, I returned to venture down the yellow trail that was new to me. Every time that I thought it would turn back it just kept winding its way further towards the river. I did pause when I saw some “gray animals” which ended up being a couple of shaggy dogs! The sun was setting and I arrived to some nice views from a great vantage point. Time to hide a cache! Replace as found if not better.
