Klaipedos universiteto Botanikos sodas yra isikures šiaurineje Klaipedos miesto dalyje, Danes upes slenyje abipus vagos. Bendras teritorijos plotas yra 9,3 ha: dešiniajame upes krante teritorija jau yra isisavinta, cia kuriamos dekoratyviniu augalu kolekcijos. Numatyta teritorijos pletra kairiajame upes krante. Šios Danes upes slenio atkarpos reljefas labai ivairus, kraštovaizdis vaizdingas. Per Botanikos sodo teritorija tekancios Danes upes vaga labai vingiuota. Vagos ilgis – daugiau kaip 2 km. Plotis svyruoja nuo 20 iki 40 metru, vidutinis upes gylis yra apie 2 m. Šia upes dali galima nesunkiai pritaikyti vandens turizmui. Yra keletas regyklu, iš kuriu atsiveria puikus vietoves vaizdai. Kairiajame upes krante yra išlikusiu musu proteviu baltu bei Mažosios Lietuvos laikus menanciu reliktu. Tai gynybines reikšmes pylimai, senos kapinaites, padavimais apipintas “velnio” akmuo. Beje šis ispudingas, 4 metru ilgio, 3,5 metru plocio ir apie 50 tonu svorio akmuo yra valstybes saugomas kaip respublikines reikšmes gamtos paminklas.

Botanic garden of Klaipeda University is in the Nothern part of town, located in both banks of river Dane. Total area is 9,3 ha: right bank is already planted with decorative plants, and left bank is still for future expansion. Terrain of the botanic garden is very various, and the landscape is very scenic. River’s channel is very bendy, it’s length is more then 2km in the garden. River’s width varies from 20m to 40m, average depth is 2m. This part of Dane could be easily used for water tourism. There are few watch towers opening beautiful views. Relics from ancient times can be found in the left bank of the river – forts, old cemetery, mythological stone “of devil”. By the way, this stone is a national monument of nature, it is 4m long, 3.5m wide and weighs ~50t.
