Geocache Description:

This is the second of a park series that I will be doing in the area. This is a nice little park in Brewer for bringing the kids to play or in the summer time taking a swim.

The City of Brewer has many nice little parks all over the city. This one is one of the busier parks in the city.

History of this park: This park used to be just a field when I moved to Brewer years ago. Some parents got together with the city and planned to make this a playground for the kids. Once the planning phase was over...volunteers were sought to build the playground... the first playground that sat on this property was made of wooden structures and took about a month of building. My sons and I were in a weekend volunteer group that worked on this is the pouring rain... we were caked in mud.

I will have to look and see if I can find my pictures of the original structure that was built

The structure that is here now was put in a few years ago.

This area is known to get quite busy in the summertime as the rec department bring the kids here for play time or swimming lessons

Please park in the Brewer Auditorium parking lot Please be respectful of the other property around the playground as the neighbors were not in favor of the playground being placed here.

You really shouldn't need a hint... just a good eye.

Bring your own writing utensil. Please replace as found.
