Welcome to the Delirium Wilderness, a designated wilderness area in the Hiawatha National Forest. This is a wilderness cache, so come prepared for at least a 2.1 mile hike,(each way) crossing three beaver ponds (however you see fit) ending at the Sylvester Impoundment. The best way to the cache is on ancient, overgrown roads from the most logical parking area. Bring spare batteries because we do not really want you "Lost in the Delirium Wilderness". Regulations prohibit motorized vehicles, bicycles, and hang gliders in this area. We placed this cache during a very dry season, and had no problem in this otherwise swampy wilderness. After crossing the third beaver pond, pick up the trail at N46* 18.495 W084* 40.893. There is an unactivated geocoin for the first-to-find. Beware the unstable peat bog at ground zero, lots of places to twist an ankle.
