GAG14 - Who Gives A Hoot? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

GreyingJay: The container is confirmed gone. When this cache was placed, there was a fair bit of tree cover (not a lot) and a covered patio around the front of the building to help shield your activity from unsuspecting muggles. A lot of that cover has disappeared over the years, and I feel the spot is too open now.

Thanks to everyone who found the cache!

Who gives a hoot about restaurants in Bell's Corners?

Apparently, not many.

Consider the following:

  • Just off Richmond Road, what was once a lounge, a tex-mex grill, and a Chinese buffet house, now sits abandoned and deserted. (See GC1MJKP and the now-archived GC16DXT).
  • A second former Chinese buffet house sits, now abandoned, at the corner of Richmond Road and Robertson Road. (Not far from The Burrow's cache).
  • A fast-food restaurant used to exist at the corner of Robertson and Moodie, in the far corner of the parking lot. It, too, disappeared, unceremoniously forgotten, years ago.
  • A fast-food ice cream restaurant used to exist not far away on Northside Road, and its building lay abandoned and forgotten for many years before finally being torn down. (See the now-archived GCKP2B).

The titular (no pun intended!) cache is yet another in the "Restaurant Curse" series, as the nearby building has, too, been abandoned and forgotten.

Where will the curse strike next?
