Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden on Redfern Lake. It is nestled in the Northern Rocky Mountains in Redfern-Keily Provincial Park. Redfern is part of the Muskwa-Kechika Management Area; one of the largest protected areas in the world!

Access to this cache is via a 90 km ATV trail. The trail can be very muddy with deep river crossings. Be sure to travel in groups with winches, tow straps and lots of extra gas. It takes about 6-8 hours one way to get to the small campground near the cache.

Please note that there are ATV size restrictions on all trails in the Muskwa Kechikia.

Alternatively in the winter this cache could be accessed via snowmobile and a little bit of shoveling snow.

For more information check the BC Parks website (www.bcparks.ca) or call the Northland Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club (visit link)
