Geocache Description:

A nice, scenic hike on the South Ridge trail of Chino Hills State Park.

From the Rimcrest Drive trailhead, the one way distance to the cache is a little less than 2 miles. Of course, there are other access points to the park that will lead you to the cache. The cache is an decon kit about 150 feet off the trail in an area not yet taken over by mustard plants.

The cache is named after the two tarantulas I saw within 30 feet of each other walking up the hill from San Juan Hill. I posted a picture of one of them.

Please treat this cache as if it were your own. Watch for nongeocachers, rehide it better than you found it, trade equally or better, and be safe.

1/1/14: Cache replaced with smaller decon kit. The area near the cache changed so much from the original hide. It used to be an ammo can near the base of an electrical tower. The tower has been gone for over 2 years now.
