On the Maunawili Falls Trail, cross the river twice,
now you have a choice to make, to the left is nice.
Keep an eye on the water, it’s quick to flash flood,
the rocks can be slippery, so try not to draw blood!
Walk the stone path till a stand of fan palms you find,
then up a hill 40 paces to left, leave the trail behind.
See natures own hangman’s noose in the gallows tree,
it reminds us to cache in trash out, or nature’s wrath we’ll see.
At the base of a tree under a UPS lies a treasure,
enjoy your find, put it back as found, for everybody’s pleasure.
