This is the first of a set of seven caches near the pretty village of Arkesden; which has a lovely church, loads of thatched cottages and not least a highly recommended pub/restaurant.
There is on road parking near to the start of the footpath in the centre of the village opposite the pub.Rough co ords for parking N51.59.310 E0.09.494 The walk taking in all seven caches is about 3.5 miles long. It is mainly along well kept footpaths with a short on road section at the end. When setting, there was just one footpath which had been ploughed over between # 5 and # 6 which could prove troublesome after rain. The terrain is not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs.
