Martin Brod - village between Una and Unac river
Martin Brod je vesnice skoro na konci sveta. Já jsem se o
ní poprvé dozvedel od kamarádu v roce 1998,
kdy sem podnikli výpravu na lov pstruhu. Rok na to jsem sem
zavítal i já. Zdejší kraj me naprosto
okouzlil, od té doby do tohoto regionu jezdím rybarit
a relaxovat každý rok.
Martin Brod village is almost at the end of the world. I got to
know about it from my friends in 1998, when they came there for a
flyfishing expedition. The following year I visited this wonderful
place too. Local region totally charmed me and since that time I go
there for flyfishing and relaxing every year.
Ovšem lov zdejších ryb na umelou mušku
není jedinou zajímavostí
zdejšího kraje. Krome výborné
místní kuchyne (Pstruh na žáru),
prívetivých obyvatel a ubytování skoro
za hubicku zde najdete reku Unu a Unac, rícní klenoty
Evropy s krištálove cistou pitnou vodou a 130
travertinovými kaskádami, které se
protkávají vesnicí a radou
živocišných a rostlinných druhu.
Mužete chytit trofejní pstruhy obecné a
duhové, videt vodní želvy, kudlanky, a
další nepreberné množství hmyzu.
Není náhodou, že tato hranicní
cást Bosny prímo sousedí s Chorvatskými
predraženými a lidmi narvanými
Plitvickými jezery. Zajímavostí je
také, že všude okolo narazíte pouze na
mešity, ale v Martin Brode naleznete historický
travertinový pravoslavný kostel (Monastery Rmanj) z
roku 1440. Níže po proudu u obce Orašac
mužete navštívit nádherné vodopady
na rece Una „Štrbacki Buk“. Reka Una a
blízký Vrbas jsou využívány pro
rafting. Na vodopádech a ve vesnici Martin Brod se
natácela valná cást filmu Filipa Rence Na
vlastní nebezpecí.
But angling on the fly rod is not the only attractions of the local
region. Besides the excellent local cuisine (Special fried trout),
friendly people and cheap accommodation you can see there Una river
and Unac river, river jewels of Europe with crystal-clear drinking
water and with 130 travertine cascades that flow through the
village. You can see wild animals and interesting plant species.
You can catch trophy brown and rainbow trout, see a freshwater
turtle, praying, and other wealth insects. It is no coincidence
that this boundary part of Bosnia directly adjacent to Croatia
region of overpriced Plitvice lakes. It is also interesting that
you find everywhere only mosques, but in Martin Brod you can visit
historic travertine Orthodox Church (Monastery Rmanj) from the year
1440. Downstream from community Orašac you can visit the
beautiful waterfalls on the Una river "Štrbacki Buk" (see
the foto). Una River and near Vrbas are used for rafting. The
waterfalls and the village Martin Brod, are the general part of the
movie "On the own risk" directed by Filip Renc.
Samotný príjezd do obce je trochu
dobrodružstvím.Cesty jsou dve, první z Bihace po
hlavní ceste smer na Sarajevo, odbocka na Kulen Vakuf a
posledních 8 km nádherným kanonem reky Una po
prašné ceste do Martin Brodu (doporucuji). Nebo
druhá príjezdová cesta klikatou asfaltkou z
druhé strany z mesta Titov Drvar. V tomto prípade
pojedete okolo kanonu reky Unac.
Arrival to the village itself is a little bit adventure. There are
two roads leading to the village. First one leads from Bihac along
the main road direction to Sarajevo, turning to Kulen Vakuf and the
last 8 km along Una throught beautiful canyon on a dusty road to
Martin Brod (recommended). Or the second driveway on winding
asphalt near the city Titov Drvar. In this case you will go around
the canyon of river Unac.
Samotná keška se nenachází prímo
v obci Martin Brod, ale v nedalekém kanonu reky Unac.
Své auto zaparkujte u mostu pres reku v sousedství
kostela a vydejte se na procházku do kanonu, pokud
stojíte celem proti proudu tak po ceste na levé
strane. Cesta není nebezpecná, pouze v letních
mesících doporucuji pevnou obuv a dlouhé
kalhoty, mužete narazit na zmiji. Pro schránku
není potreba nikam lézt, ani procházet vodou.
Souradnice pravdepodobne nebudou prez veškerou snahu
úplne presné a proto i z duvodu bezpecnosti si
prohlédnete foto nápovedu.
The cache itself is not directly in Martin Brod, but in canyon of
Unac river near the village. Park your car near the bridge over the
river in neighborhood of the church (monastery Rmanj) and go for a
short walk to the canyon. When you stay on the bridge forehead
against the tide you will see the path on the left side. Path is
not dangerous, only in the summer months I recommend you sturdy
shoes and trousers, you may encounter a viper. For the cache is
needed nowhere to climb, crawl, or wade the water. Coordinates
probably will not be completely accurate and therefore there is a
photo help (Spoiler photo).
