Colorado River Cache
This cache is a small plastic bottle under a pile of rocks. Easy find but the area is listed as "Boat Access Only". There is a fee for parking if you park a Cattail Cove, from there the boat trip is only a mile or so. If you launch from Lake Havasu City, it's about a 18 mile boat trip. No fees for the boat tie-up area if you don't stay over night, otherwise it's a $10 per night camping fee. After you beach your boat it's a short but moderate hike to the cache (for me anyway). This is a very clean area thanks to the Arizona Parks Department that arrive now and then by pontoon boat, so please keep the area clean. Amazing view of the Colorado River (Lake Havasu). Cache contains log book and pen only, some room for other items.
